Nyékládháza’s best known tourist attraction is its very extensive series of lakes, which came into being through the flooding of former gravel pits.
Amongst its other attractions is the former Egry-Szepessy Mansion,
built in the town-centre between 1790 and 1801, in the Classicist
style. The ground-floor of the two-storey building functions as an old
people’s home. The first-floor is used as an exhibition area, which,
beside a permanent display dealing with the town’s history, also
provides opportunities for temporary displays to be held.
