This very appealing settlement lies on the south-west perimeter of the Cserehát Region. Its most popular attraction is a very large – now protected – old oak-tree, which stands in the middle of a rape field, on the outskirts of the village.

The Calvinist church, in the centre of the village, was built from ruins which date back to the Middle-Ages.
