Sajószentpéter
The settlement’s principal monument is its Calvinist church. Built in the 14th century, originally in the Gothic style, the church was later embellished with Renaissance and baroque features. Its ceiling of painted wooden coffers, added during the 1753 reconstruction of the church, merits special attention.

Amongst the places of interest in Sajószentpéter, several buildings with rural heritage values deserve a mention. As an example there is the 18th century building which was formerly the blacksmith’s workshop, and which today serves as the House of Regional Folk Art.
The Classicist style country-mansion of the Gedeon family, which is today an educational institution, is also worth seeing.
